The passage experienced a surge in popularity during the 1960s when Letraset used it on their dry-transfer sheets, and again during the 90s as desktop publishers bundled the text with their software.

Based in a former Cart Linhay building belonging to the Town Farm House estate, Mortehoe Museum was opened in 1996 following the vision and dedication of a group of local residents.
Today the Museum is a Treasure Trove of local history covering Woolacombe & Mortehoe.
The Museum is FREE to visit, although as a charity we do ask for a small donation to help with our running costs.
